The camera system of the SPC-line is an construction kit for the arrangement of custumer oriented cameras. By the selection of modules a camera can be configured optimally on a wide range of applications. The useful processing units allow a image evaluation, like this also the construction of intelligent sensors is possibly.

Sensors and adaptation (Camera head)
The camera head assumes the adaptation of several sensors to the bus system. The exposure regula-tion and preprocessing of image data is realized by the internal electronic system. Logarithmic, CMOS-Matrix sensors, CCD-Lines and special components in color ans b/w are used. Sensor coo-ling is possible.

Separation block
The optional separation blocks serve coupling of the processing units.

Processing
Three different processing units are available:
- FPGA (Free Programmable Logic) Modules,
- Signal processors of the Texas-Instruments-family,
- Microcontroller.

Power supply
Depending of the processing units different power supply modules can be used. The nominelle supply of the camera is 12..15V DC. Optionally a upgrading on the range 15V..60V is possible.

Interface
For the use within controls is the data output via RS232 or RS485 specified. The transfer of pictures takes place with the help of HOTLINK.
